Interclub competition judged by Tim Booth

To help with the forthcoming competition we'll be having an evening dedicated to talking about the different approaches to nature photography ... all of us (not just one person stood at the front waffling). Location is Bridport Town Hall

Bridport Camera Club is pleased to welcome another photographer with a fantastically interesting back catalogue to come along and talk with us about some gloriously bonkers stuff.

Around our town by members of Bridport Camera Club. FREE and open to all.

60 Subjects, 60 images in 60 minutes ... a great ice breaker for the start of the season. It's a helluva challenge, it's fast and visceral without too much time for pondering. The subject list will be revealed on the day ... followed by a chat and maybe a spot of lunch.

This is always an exciting and motivational evening. The Chair and Programme Secretary will introduce the direction for the Club's new season, outlining talks, events, mentoring and competitions, etc. New members are always welcome! FREE ENTRY, but please book a free ticket to guarantee a space.

A field trip to photograph the setting up of the Melplash Show ... we really need to know numbers for this one so that we can liaise with the showground.

There will be a club exhibition at the end of the summer, "Bridport, We See You", and this will be a good chance to collect images, to meet up outside of the club and get to know your fellow members.

Pease wear a decent pair of shoes as it could be muddy, it'll certainly be uneven. A good walk, a good talk about all things photography as we're going along. A good chance to photograph the local fauna and flora ...

Titles can and do influence how people interpret and respond to our photographs, so perhaps we shoukd be giving it a bit more thought?
