We will be looking at some of the stunning work of club member Graham Herbert and talking about how he achieves some of his results. There will be practical demonstrations and if there is time we might get to look at the work of other photographers that floats his boat Location is Bridport Town Hall

Exclusively open to members of Bridport Camera Club only.
Graham's approach to SMALL HOME STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY …mainly LIGHTING, mainly STILL LIFE …plus a few other things!
In the first half, he will talk about comparing three prime light sources (natural, constant and flash) and how to modify each of them to create mood, depth and atmosphere in studio-based photography - such as still life. Finishing off with a brief look at three photographers that have influenced him in one form or another (time permitting).
In the second half, he will quickly run through the basics of electronic flash, demonstrate some still life light painting and, finally, show how he sets up and light my back-lit glass still life.
