About the event
George Wright is local freelance photographer with some photos appearing in the colour supplements. He has recently had two photobooks published.
First half will cover early infuences, art college, fashion photographer, eventually getting commisions from the likes of the Observer as a freelance photographer.
For the second part, which neatly coincides with his digital awakening, he could travel further afield, and mainly on two wheels, to Eastern Europe and the Balkans, up to the Arctic Circle as well as the length of South America and overland to Iran and back, maybe ending with a couple of recent(ish) commissions and an ongoing project.
