Some of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners with the judge, Ian Biggs
The club held its first competition of the year which was judged by Ian Biggs, who humoured us throughout the evening with his encouraging comments & reflections. Entries were high for both A (Advanced) & B (Novices) Section Prints, and it was refreshing to see some new names appear on the board. The decline of slides nationwide was reflected in the A & B slide amalagtion (end of year results will provide winners in each section).
Winners for the evening: Slides - 1st & 3rd Garry Hayball and 2nd Barry Welch. A Prints - 1st Andy Gale, 2nd Johanna Poyntz & 3rd Clive Matthews and B Prints - 1st Charles Hallsworth, 2nd Michael Hounsell & 3rd Adrian Johnson in his first competition.
